Hey Andy do you got the part number for the belt? Mine was vibrating too & finally snapped today while mowing.

It looks like changing the oil and filter on the Ariens would be more difficult. I would like to see a comparisons between the blade changing between the two. The Cub's deck is floating, it appears the Ariens deck is fixed. So how well do they handle bums and hills?

You wonder why stihl doesn't make their own or build one into the trimmer which folds away..

I don’t know if the Vride XL is the same as the Tires Tiger II but the Vanguard engines got a higher ft/lb clutch than the Kawasaki or Kohler engines.

I love mine. However at 75 hours the hydro bracket broke. Super frustrating on a brand new machine but it was fixed under warranty

Thanks for showing us how to seperate it if it does what it should do which it never does. Anybody know how to get it apart if you remove the bolts n it wont seperate?

Both 52s? Man I'm itching to get the 61 but heard of many issues. Double check all your bolts to be tight and something out about the hydro lines as well. Congrats yal! Need some videos!!!

Awesome mowers. I will say be careful with the electronic throttles on the Kawasaki's. If the harness gets wet, it like to surge and go into limp mode. Had that issue with a few of those motors and Kawasaki simply said oh well..... Great motors but don't pressure wash the connection or get them wet at all on the efi. Great mower choice though. Really Can't beat a scag and I have run them all.

ZTS2- 50 here.. was like $5.4K out the door.. This is the best zt ever.. steering wheel tracks perfect, holds side slopes. Climbs walls, It's a Tactor, a yard Go Kart.. I heavily modified mine... tool rack, Ass stays in seat Grass Dump.. heavily modified (Quad Bladed X3, Major Air Flow improvements.. 8" Duct to the bucket.. Huge Suckage.. What ever.. Cub Cadet could of did better with all the Confusing 2 x 2 steel. What is it?? It doesn't protect the back of the seat, but I guess it protects the top of the engine?? Where do I put my tool rack, and Accessory Tray? What's with those Wierd "S" spindle hubs?? Makes Quad Blading more difficult, but real men figured it out. What a $100 Drive Belt when I can get a better aramid belt for $28? Come on Cub Cadet.. you made too much money on the ZT2S.. Yet you keep ripping us off for parts.

could someone explain how that transmission works as compared to hydro units. Does the trans shift automatically as you increase speed lever or does operator need to shift it all the time? I like simple and a trans does not sound simple or robust.
